The KW Zone Dophin CO2 Canister Filter is built for planted aquariums. Rather than bolting a separate CO2 reactor onto the return line, the mixing system is integrated into the canister itself, so dissolved CO2 goes into the tank already blended with the filtered water. This 1450 L/h model is the largest in the CO2 range and suits planted tanks up to 140 litres. The fast start-up primer gets the siphon going with noticeably less effort than a standard primer.
| Maximum output | 1450 L/h |
| Power | 15 W |
| Voltage | 220–240 V / 50 Hz |
| Suitable tank size | Up to 140 L (38 US gal) |
| Priming | Fast start-up |
| Heater compartment | Fits 22–24 mm heater, CE / 3C standard |
Site the canister below the tank water line so the siphon primes correctly. Rinse mechanical media in tank water rather than tap water to protect the biological colony. Close the valve taps before disconnecting hoses for a service.
This range comes in three flow rates, each in a fast start-up or common priming version: 950 L/h for tanks to 90 L, 1200 L/h to 120 L, and 1450 L/h to 140 L. Fast start-up costs slightly more and makes priming easier; common priming is the standard mechanism.
