Introducing ROYAL CANIN® Shih Tzu Adult Dog Food, a carefully tailored diet catering to the unique nutritional requirements of your adult Shih Tzu aged over 10 months. Our special blend of nutrients diligently works to uphold your dog's skin health, directly impacting the health and lustre of its coat. The recipe is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, along with an addition of borage oil, all of which substantially contribute to nourishing your Shih Tzu's skin and coat. Additionally, our bespoke nutritional solution includes calcium chelators, assisting in the maintenance of your dog's dental health. Furthermore, ROYAL CANIN® Shih Tzu Adult supports the health of your pet's digestive function, working to reduce the volume of their faecal output, thus helping to diminish the odour. Uniquely designed for this breed, the shape and size of our kibble facilitate easier pick-up and chewing.

Key Features:

  • Skin and Coat Health: With an exclusive combination of nutrients, including omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, and borage oil, our formula helps maintain your Shih Tzu's skin and coat health.
  • Dental Health: Our recipe includes calcium chelators, promoting the upkeep of your dog's dental hygiene.
  • Stool & Odour Reduction: Our formula supports your dog's digestive health, contributing to reduced faecal volume and odour.

    Transition Instructions

We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.
