Dayang Dog Crate (073) with Wheels and Slide-Out Tray - 95 x 57.5 x 86.5 cm

The Dayang Dog Crate (073) is a heavy-gauge wire crate on four castors with a slide-out floor tray, sized for a medium dog.

Key Features

• Welded wire rather than folding panels, so it holds its shape and does not rack when a dog leans on it.
• Slide-out tray pulls from the side, so you can clean it without moving the crate or the dog.
• Four castors - a crate this weight is otherwise a two-person job to shift.
• 95 cm long, 57.5 cm wide, 86.5 cm high.
• Single side door with a sliding latch.

Available in: Dayang also lists a larger 109.5 x 70 x 89.5 cm crate.

Good To Know

• Size a crate so the dog can stand without ducking, turn round and lie flat on its side. Much bigger and it stops feeling like a den; any smaller and it is simply too small.
• Introduce it slowly. Feed meals inside with the door open for several days before you ever shut it, and never use it as a punishment - a dog that learns the crate means trouble will fight it for life.
• A crate is a bed, not a holding pen. Most trainers cap daytime crating at around four hours for an adult dog and far less for a puppy, and a dog crated because it is anxious usually gets worse rather than better.
• Take collars, harnesses and tags off before your dog goes in. Buckles and tags catch in wire, and that is a real strangulation risk when nobody is watching.
• Do not leave a dog in this outdoors in UAE heat. Shade is not enough - an enclosed space in a UAE summer reaches lethal temperatures within minutes, and dogs shed heat far less efficiently than people do.
