Bark Park also has a pet store that sells pet treats and humans can enjoy coffee/tea and snacks at the shops. The staff members are very friendly and polite.

You can also enjoy a picnic in the area admiring the desert atmosphere while their dogs socialize with each other or run on the sand dunes.

The best part is that the place is completely enclosed so you can leave your pet off-leash and let it run and burn those calories.  Bark Park often organizes fun events like the Saluki Run which are sponsored, so your pooches get to enjoy some free goodies if you’re lucky enough to visit on those days!

The downside is that the place has an entrance fee that is quite exorbitant, but they do have affordable membership options. The approach road to the park is also not well-developed (at the time of writing this guide, but we hope that changes soon). Also, the park is some distance away from the main city.

3.    JLT Dog Park

Set amidst lush green surroundings with plenty of sand pits for dogs to play in, the JLT Dog Park (Jumeirah Lake Towers) is located near Cluster H. The spacious park has plenty of seating for owners and water fountains and shaded areas for pooches to play in.

 JLT dog park is extremely clean and well-maintained. It has a double gate at the entrance (which prevents dogs from darting out into the traffic) and a play tunnel for dogs. These features make it a pet-friendly park for dog owners who are looking to train or socialize their pets.

 

The downside is that the park tends to get very crowded, especially when the weather is pleasant. Also, the lighting is not as adequate as it should be. Many patrons also feel that the park’s opening hours should be increased, especially in the warmer months.

4.    Dog Park Springs 8

Springs 8 is a great dog park to meet dog-friendly people and their 4-legged friends. It is equipped with swings so you can also bring your kids here. There is ample grass and muddy pits for dogs to sniff and dig. Moreover, it is conveniently located for residents in and around the Springs area. The best part is that the park is open 24/7!

There are a few disadvantages to this dog park: firstly, there is no parking, so be prepared for a walk to reach there. Secondly, there is only a single gate at the entrance so the chances of dogs darting out into the traffic are high. Lastly, the place is quite small and gets crowded.

5.    Dog Park Damac Hills

If you have recently purchased/adopted a dog that you want to socialize with other pets at no extra cost, then the Dog Park, DAMAC Hills is the answer!

Damac Hills dog park is open to non-residents as well. The large dog park has two areas - one for small dogs and the other for medium to large dogs. It provides a serene atmosphere for humans and pets alike. Its restrooms are clean and well-maintained and the park itself is neat and tidy. There are agility courses arranged for dogs so they can get some much-needed mental and physical stimulation.

6.    South Ridge Park

If you want a spot in the downtown area to get some amazing photos of the Burj Khalifa while also spending time with your pet/s, then South Ridge Park is the place to go.

Conveniently located in downtown Dubai, this is a serene place to relax and unwind with your furry friend in the winter months.

The park has two grassy areas - one is restricted for dogs and the other for humans. This is, no doubt, one of the best pet-friendly parks in downtown Dubai.

Hours open - 6 am to 11 pm on all days except Saturday. Saturdays, it is open from 6 am to 11.30 pm and 12 am to 2.30 am.

 

7.    Burj Park - Emaar

If you find yourself asking ‘which parks in Dubai allow pets’, then one of your options is the Burj Park by Emaar.

Burj Park is one of the most beautiful and picturesque locations in Dubai and it is perfect to visit morning or evening. It is conveniently located at a 3-minute walk from the Dubai Fountain and the Dubai Opera is close by as well.

There are plenty of grassy areas in the park - although pets are not allowed in them. You will be treated to some unexpected fountain shows with music and, at nighttime, the place transforms into a magical wonderland with gorgeous decorative views.

Burj Park by Emaar is a great place to spend time with your dog while also taking some wonderful photos and selfies with it!

8.    Dubai Hills Park - Emaar

Dubai Hills Park is another of the top-rated parks in Dubai. It has amenities for kids as well as pets. There is a designated area for pets where your little fur baby can happily frolic around with other dogs. A running track is conveniently located for you to jog.

The lush green park is also newly developed, so everything is very neat and well-maintained. 

The park has ample car parking on different levels for added convenience. You can also avail of the (paid) splash area to cool off in the heat. The best part is that the park is open 24 x 7.

On the downside, there are no restaurants or eateries nearby and nor any BBQ pits. So, make sure to carry some food for you and your pet.

9.    Al Ittihad Park

Sprawling over 70,000 sqm, Al Ittihad Park is one of the top parks in Palm Jumeirah Island (near the monorail station) and one of the few that allow pets.

It also features a 3 km running track and houses more than 60 different species of trees. There is plenty of gym equipment throughout the park and a dedicated bike track for cyclists. The restaurants lining the park are also pet-friendly.

Please note that your dog should be always kept on a leash.

10. Motor City Dog Park

One of the few dedicated dog parks in Dubai, the Motor City Dog Park is in Up Town Motor City. It is shaded with plenty of tall trees for your dog to walk under and offers a quiet spot for training your dog.

On the downside, Motor City Park does need some benches for owners to sit on and it is also not as big as some people might prefer.
