Directions for Use

Using AquaVitro Alpha is simple:

  • Dispense 5mL of Alpha for every 300L (approximately 75 US gallons) to effectively remove:
    • 1 mg/L of ammonia
    • 4 mg/L of chloramine
    • 5 mg/L of chlorine
  • For best results, add Alpha to new water before introducing it to the aquarium, although it can be added directly as well.
  • Adjust dosing based on your aquarium volume; a sulphur odor is normal and expected.
  • In cases of extremely high chloramine levels, a double dose can be safely administered.
  • During emergency nitrite detoxification, up to five times the standard dose may be used.
  • If water temperature exceeds 30°C (86°F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, consider using a half dose.
